Thank you for the personal question on being a disciple of Christ, “How do you feel being a disciple of Christ?”
As a believer in Jesus Christ as my Savior, it is the greatest honor and privilege to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. I love him because he first loved me. For there is no greater love than one to lay down his life for his friends. Jesus did this for me and I am eternally indebted and grateful to my Savior
Being a disciple of Jesus Christ has given me the greatest adventures in my life. Walking with Jesus is not a 9 to 5 job or a Sunday two hour allotment, but an intimate relationship even as I am learning how to abide and fellowship with him from moment to moment, to hour by hour. The places and people that my wife and I had met have been incredible, both believers and non-believers. To know that one has a purpose in life that can alter the eternal destiny of someone or to help someone in the need. Each day brings with it new challenges and experiences. Nothing is routine about being a disciple of Jesus Christ. God has given me the privilege to teach and to mentors others about the Christian life and the Christian ministry. It is my prayer that a new generation of believers will be even more passionate and committed to the Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
SUMMARY: Being a disciple of Jesus Christ has given me the greatest adventures in my life. It’s making a difference in someone’s life.
