Quick Guide to Crafting a Successful Lesson

Here is a quick guide on how to craft a successful lesson.

1. The most critical things to do is to determine the 1 Big idea of the Passage
   • Create one sentence that gives unity to all the ideas of the verses you are teaching on
2. Determine the Lesson Aim
   • The Lesson Aim is what you want each person to KNOW and FEEL and the ACTIVITIES you are going to accomplish it based on the big idea of the passage.
3. Create a Lesson Plan
   • Use the 4 Movements of a Lesson: Hook, Book, Look, Took
