THE PURPOSE OF ASKKINGSTON.COM
This website is dedicated to help those who have questions about God and to support Christian ministries throughout the world. We are only beginning to create, organize, and upload resources for you.
I want to address the questions that Christians and non-Christians have regarding God, His Word and the world. The answers provided are one perspective based on my understanding of the Scriptures and the world around us. I don’t claim to have all the answers, but hopefully together we can better make sense of who He is, His Word and this World.
For those who seek resources or materials for ministry, this website is available to you. It is my prayer that your spiritual life and your ministry will be blessed as we partner with you in building and expanding the Kingdom of God through Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord.
This website is free. There are no fees to you for accessing the material and you have our permission to copy it for your personal life or for your ministry. I do, however, ask that you acknowledge the source and do not use the material for profit.
Thank you for taking your time to check out my website.

MY STORY OF SALVATION
I was born in June 1948 being the fifth child of immigrant parents in San Francisco, California. My parents sent us to St. Mary’s Catholic School. As a young boy, I always wondered who or what at is that man doing on the cross. The priest and nuns revered him, but I didn’t know why.
A few years later, we attended a house church with Rev. Clarence Lee. The service was in Chinese and I didn’t know what he was speaking about. Throughout the elementary and middle school years, I heard or saw stories about the Bible and even about Jesus, but I don’t understand its relevance to me. In high school, I joined a youth group that met at Pastor Ben Wong’s home. I attended faithfully, had great friends, the Bible was explained but I still didn’t understand it. They were words and Bible studies, but I couldn’t make sense of it. I even remember a friend who asked me on a Friday night fellowship meeting, “Are you interested in spiritual things?” I said, “No,” because I didn’t even know what spiritual things meant.
One day as I was walking through the elementary school yard, I saw a Bible lying on a bench. The play ground was empty. I had a compulsion to pick up the Bible because I never owned or read the Bible in my life. I went home and started to read from Genesis through the Old Testament. I don’t know what it was saying although some of the stories were familiar to me. My mother thought that I was crazy for wanting to read that Bible for hours on end.
I read into the Gospel of John and then my “eyes” were opened. I understood that this Creator God loves me, desires to forgive me of my wrongdoings, and give me new life. I finally understood that this Jesus died for my sin on the cross. That day as a teenager in 1965, I asked God to forgive me of my sin and take me as one of His children.
It was only on that day that my heart and mind were opened. I felt an inner joy and peace that I never had as a child or teenager. No person shared The Four Spiritual Laws or the Roman Road with me. I believe that it was the Holy Spirit who guided me to salvation. I was baptized in 1966 in a swimming pool at a youth church retreat. My desire to know this Creator God and His love changed my life forever.
