Thank you for the question, “What makes the Bible so real that people can’t ignore it?”
People have ignored the Bible but the reasons for ignoring are different from person to person. There are also other people who believe the Bible is so real because it meant a need in their lives. Thus it depends on the framework from which a person is coming from in their lives.
For one’s consideration of why some people can’t ignore the Bible is as follows:
A. Some people find that the Bible’s description of people’s heart and action is true despite all the advances of human’s advances and understanding of our world.
B. Some people find that the Bible’s description or experience of a personal transformation or seeing a personal transformation of someone whom s/he knows warrant further exploration.
C. Some people find that the Bible’s description of forgiveness and acceptance is truly liberating of their past bondage of hate to love.
E. Some people find that the Bible’s contradictions is not as contradictory as they thought as they read or listen to debates between atheists and theists.
SUMMARY: There is something about the Bible that affects people either negatively or positively. It divides people.
