Thank you for the question on the preachers of the Word, “Are there any good trusted pastors’ sermons out there that I can watch? I have tried watching John piper, Joseph prince, Steven furtick, Joyce Meyer etc. but I have heard a lot of controversy about them teaching false things.”
Each of us is influenced by the teacher or pastor who first taught us the Scriptures. I am influenced by my previous pastors and the seminary that I attended.
Do I agree 100% with my pastor when he speaks or when I was a pastor do the worshippers fully agreed with me? It depends where they come from whether from a Catholic or Protestant church, an independent or Pentecostal church, a conservative or liberal church.
It is my hope that pastors share their honest understanding of the Word. It is up to the listener to ask questions, to discuss the topic with the pastor or with other respected leaders in the church.
If a pastor upholds the fundamental of the faith, one may be able to accept the differences depending on the topic. If one teaches health and wealth and that there is no salvation, no heaven or hell, that Jesus is a good moral person then I would consider that person a heretic for denying the faith. That would be my opinion and I would not listen that person’s teaching or preaching.
If it when Jesus returns whether before the Tribulation or at the end of the Tribulation, I would seek to have a fuller discussion with him, but I would not consider that pastor a heretic since he believes in the return of Jesus Christ.
I would not insist that immersion is the only method since a dying person may wish to be baptized and in my opinion sprinkling or pouring of water is fine. It is the heart that matters in that case, not just the method.
Since you didn’t specify what you disagree with the preachers, I can’t comment and then it would be a matter of interpretation. I take a more historical, grammatical, and literal approach to the text.
I can’t recommend any pastor for you to listen since I do not know what your theological and biblical beliefs are. It would be unwise for me to suggest any to you.
SUMMARY: If one knows the Fundamentals of the Faith, then one can be gracious to those who have some differences with one’s own understanding of the Scriptures.
