Thank you for the biblical question on Micah 6:8,
Micah 6:6–8 says this, “With what shall I come before the LORD and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? 7 Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousand rivers of olive oil? Shall I offer my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? 8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly[a] with your God” (NIV).
Here is a suggested theme and Aim for Mical 6:8 for one’s consideration:
The theme: Reverence for God leads to godly attitudes and actions before man and God.
The aim: God reveals the corrective attitude sand actions that the Israelites must have if they say that they love God.
Isn’t it wonderful to know that God looks at the heart of a person?! God knows the problem and God gives the solution to man’s problem. There is no sacrifice for sins if there is no genuine repentance before God.
