Thank you for the question on Hebrews 1:5, “For example, to which one of the angels did God ever say: “You are my son; today I have become your father” and again, “I will become his father, and he will become my son”? Hebrews 1:5″.
I am not certain what is one’s question.
Based on one’s citation of Hebrews 1:5, the writer of Hebrew is posing a rhetorical question. The answer is that God never declared or said to any of his created beings, angels that one of them is a son or has a father-son relationship. Angels are servants of the Creator God.
The writer of Hebrews extolls and exalts the person and position of Jesus Christ over the angels. The relationship of incarnate Second Person of the Godhead is a Father-SSon relationship as described in the Gospel of John. The Second Person of the Godhead even in his incarnation does not have a Creator to servant relationship. He has a Father-Son relationship that began in eternity, continued while he was on earth, and continues into eternity. The Father-Son relationship speaks of one intimacy within each other and implies of their eternal state.
SUMMARY: No angelic being has a Father to Son relationship with the Creator Being.
