Thank you for the question, “Which Pharaoh is mentioned in the Bible?”
As I have been reading through the Old Testament, I just completed reading I and II Kin-gs as well as I and II chronicles. One of my observations is that in those books, there are mentioning of Pharaohs in the text.
It’s my intention to study further this topic based on Egyptian chronology and Biblical chronology. There are scholars and even some Christians that say that the Bible is fable and not history. I don’t agree with that viewpoint. The premise is that God is truthful. He doesn’t lie. To believe that the Bible is fable is to reject the truthfulness of God that would include the promises of God in the Old and New Testament.
Here are some verses refers to Pharaoh from The Zondervan’s Pictorial Encyclopedia of the Bible:
A. Genesis 12:14–20 speaks of Abram and Pharaoh which may be either Ammenemes I-III or Sesostris I-III.
B. Genesis 41:14–52 speaks of Joseph with an uncertain Pharaoh.
C. Exodus 1–2 speaks of Pharaoh oppressing the Israelites which may have been Ramses II.
D. Exodus 2:5–10 speaks of baby Moses and Pharaoh’s household which may have been Ramses II.
E. Exodus 4:18–14:28 of Moses and Pharaoh in the Exodus which may have been Ramses II.
F. I Kings 11:14–22 of David and unknown Pharaoh
G. I Chronicles 4:18 of Solomon and and unknown Pharaoh.
H. I Kings 9:24, I Chron. 4:18 of Solomon and marriage to Pharaoh’s daughter which may have been Siamun and or Psusennes II.
I. I Kings 14:25–27 of Rehoboam and Pharaoh Shishak.
J. II Chronicles 14:9–16 of Asia and Zerah the Cushite, possibly a Pharaoh.
H. II Kings 17:4 Hosea and Pharaoh So.
