Thank you for the question on being called to ministry, “Who called you to ministry?” (I deleted the extra, you, in the original question).
I believe each person has a different calling from God and different gifts from the Holy Spirit.
I Corinthians 12 says this, “4 There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5 There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6 There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work” (NIV).
For myself, the Holy Spirit is the one who guided my heart and mind to serve God as a pastor. Believe me, it wasn’t my first choice. Anyone entering ministry knows that it is not a 9–5 hour position but 6 days week, 10–12 hours a day with meetings in the evenings.
In my working website below, I am writing my Journey of Faith for my children and grandchildren. It’s not completed yet. My son says it is interesting reading even for him. You are invited to take a peek if you like.
