In every generation, the Bible is being contested. In the 21st century, there are multiple forces that is converging against the Bible. Satan knows that the time is shorter than before and thus his assault will be in more ferocious. The Scriptures already stated that in the end times, things will go from bad to worse. The Scriptures will become less and less relevant in the decades to come. The hearts of people will become even colder and more cruel with religious persecution to increase with time.
The Apostle Paul writes in II Timothy 3 the following words, “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people. 6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth” (A searchable online Bible in over 150 versions and 50 languages).
In our modern time, the Bible is viewed as no longer relevant. Scholars have dissected the Scriptures from its copies through the centuries, the very number of words in the Scriptures, the authorship, dating, historicity, etc. There is more information about the Scriptures than one can read and its critics. Science has become the standard of learning and the Scriptures relegated to an antiquated book or a fable story.
As the Scriptures influence is slowly being replaced by socialism and science, the moral changed especially for the United States will lead to its decline and even demise. This nation will be rotting away from within until it is a hollow shell of what it once was. The world will become poorer as the forms of Communism and Socialism invades the populace with the rise of dictatorship again for the good of the country.
SUMMARY: The Scriptures will be viewed as an antiquated and fictitious book, relegated to the children’s story section. It is setting the stage for the rise of the Antichrist to rule the world. Its irrelevance will have relevance for human history.
