Thank you for the question on banned singing in a church service due to coronavirus, “Would you attend a church service if all singing was banned as a result of the coronavirus? Why or why not?”
Personally, if my church were to ban singing in the service due to coronavirus, I would DEFINITELY ATTEND the worship service.
My reason are as follows:
- I attend the worship service to worship God. I want to honor my God and give him thanks for keeping myself, my family, and others healthy and pray for those who are in need.
- I know that worship comes from the heart, not necessarily from the lips. There are disable people who aren’t able to sing, but still can worship God.
- I know that I can express my love for my God by lifting my hands to him while the worship team sings and we listen, recording of worship songs or even if there isn’t any music but lyrics on the screen.
- I know that I can sing praises to God in my heart at the worship service or even worship at home.
SUMMARY: Neither the banned of music or Covid will stop me from worshiping God.
